She helped me understand the importance of correct form – once you’ve got this right, it never leaves you. My programme was devised to allow me to progress to more and more developed exercises and I am amazed now at what I can lift, push or press! Lucy was always positive and cheerful, and gave me confidence. She knows her stuff, and when I couldn’t manage something, would provide a variation that allowed me to build up to the full exercise.   • Lucy has got to be one of the most motivated and upbeat people that I have ever met and this is what attracted me to her as a personal trainer.  Her infectious positivity is what you need at 6am in the morning! Although I train regularly anyway, I value Lucy’s input and encouragement.  She is always able to come up with new and interesting exercises. Also, Lucy’s knowledge of dance was useful to me as an ex-dancer as she has a broad knowledge of stretching and dance exercises. Apart from regular training sessions, Lucy has also helped with diet and routine so that I am maintaining my fitness when she isn’t present.  It makes a big difference to the effectiveness of a trainer if they overlook your diet, lifestyle and exercise plan – making it more of a holistic exercise programmethan one hour of sweat. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucy as a personal trainer or dance teacher.”

  • “Lucy was a personal dance teacher for my friend and myself.  My friend is fit & healthy whilst I am less fit but very willing so Lucy had a mixed bag of skills to work with.  As a child I did the usual tap, modern & ballet for a number of years but it has been at least half my life since I was in a dance class.  Lucy mad me feel very  comfortable and took the time to understand what our abilities were & what we wanted to achieve out of our lessons.  Each lesson was different & great fun, we were either building upon a previous routine learnt or leaning an entirely new one.  She was very encouraging and I felt like one of the pussycat dolls! The lesson stretched my abilities whilst still maintaining a high level of fun.  As a final note I wish Lucy the very best for future, I miss our dance sessions and have not found a suitable replacement since she left the area.”
